Join us on some Mondays at our new IN-PERSON COOKING COURSE and learn how to cook recipes from our 3 month STREETFOOD plan. 

Starts 20 January 2025 and we will meet approx. every other week (7 in-person classes of your course) and the remaining weeks will be completed independently by you at your home. Recipes may include paella, Asian stirfry, sticky toffee pudding, caramel and pepper chicken bake, American pancakes, the ultimate chocolate cookie, Thai curry, sausage rolls, superfood salad…plus more! Learn knife skills, food safety and kitchen hygiene, build confidence, hob and oven skills etc.

In-class dates are 20/1/25, 27/1/25, 10/2/25, 24/2/25, 17/3/25, 31/3/25 and 7/4/25

ALLROUNDER 3 MONTH BRONZE*

This  plan takes you from baking to cooking a 3 dinner course dinner and snacks.  A large range of recipes experimenting with lots of flavours and skills demonstrating the skills section of your award. 

You will start by baking Anzac cookies , cakes, traybakes, sweet pastry, savoury sausage rolls, progress through to midweek meals including a curry, Chinese stirfry, one-pot roast, pasta bake, MiddleEastern snack (shawarma) and finish off with a well deserved sweet pudding (chocolate mousse, creme brulee, Swiss roll, pavlova or the ultimate chocolate cookie, muffins).

ALLROUNDER 3 MONTH (EXT)

If you have already completed one of our 3 month cooking courses and have decided to extend our course to 6 months, this is the course for you. 

A little bit of everything - baking (ultimate chocolate cookies), pancakes, shakshuka, chocolate treats, midweek meals (beef ragu, paella, slowcooked lamb, Malaysian sambal prawns/chicken, & puddings (choc puds, churros, tiramisu, profiteroles ...)

You will experiment with lots of skills, ingredients & flavours.

ALLROUNDER 6 MONTHS

This course is for those who have NOT completed one of our online bronze level courses.

You'll learn to cook snacky treats (biscuits, cakes, savoury rolls, apple turnovers), breakfast treats, midweek dinners which will be family favourites, something sweet for pudding. This recipe plan is full of foodie favourites from snacks to cooking a 3 course meal. It's our most popular recipe plan.

Recipes include 

Anzac cookies, muffins, fridgecake, , sweet pastry, savoury sausage rolls, progress through to midweek meals including a curry, Chinese stirfry, one-pot roast, risotto, pasta bake, slowcooked lamb, MiddleEastern snacks (shawarma) and finish off with a well deserved sweet pudding (chocolate mousse, creme brulee, Eton Mess, apple crumble, Swiss roll, pavlova or the ultimate chocolate cookie, muffins).

This vegan plan takes you from baking to cooking a 3 dinner course dinner and snacks - recipes include muffins,  oaty chocolate biscuits, no-bake lemony traybake, savoury snacks, pasta bake, slightly spicy stirfry,  smoky curry, vege shawarma & chocolate pudding.   A large range of recipes experimenting with lots of flavours and skills demonstrating the skills section of your award. Recipes can be swapped out to your liking.

STREET FOOD 3 MONTHS VERSION 1

This Streetfood recipe is also for students who have a sibling / friend completing the other streetfood course concurrently. It includes some fishbased recipes; cook your way around the globe and enjoy blackened haddock with salsa, aubergine parmigiana, tiramisu, smoky fish curry,  seafood with coconut dal, paella, churros,ragout, sambal chicken salad, oven baked churros, pavlova, chocolate traybake...you will savour lots of interesting flavour and try new skills. 

STREETFOOD 3 MONTHS VERSION 3

Another STREETFOOD course but with a different selection of recipes.

Carribean chicken with mango salsa, Chinese sweet and sour, Italian risotto, global sausage rolls, Indian keema, American pancakes, Mexican burittos, Pad Thai, Middle Eastern shawarma, crepes, profiteroles..plus more!

STREETFOOD 3 MONTHS VERSION 4

 

This recipe plan is made up from our family favourite cookbook - it's a mixture of sweet and savoury, snacks, lots of midweek meals and well-deserved sweet treats. Recipes include caramelised chicken with peppers, sesame asian meatballs, bangers'n'mash, the ultimate chocolate cookie, Pho, sweet and sour chicken, strawberry mousse, fish pie, beef with sesame noodles, lime drizzle cake...and you also have the option to substitute recipes with any of your own favourites. 

STREETFOOD 6 MONTHS

COOKIES-CAKES-BAKING - 3 MONTHS (EXT)

If you have akready taken one of our 3 month courses and wish to extend to a 6 month course - then this is the course for you.

You will learn new skills, experiment with ingredients and recipes which will inspire your passion for cooking.

ALL ROUNDER EGG FREE 3 MONTHS

This recipe plan teaches you baking to cooking a 3 dinner course dinner and snacks.  A large range of recipes experimenting with lots of flavours and skills demonstrating the skills section of your award. Suitable for egg-free dietary requirements.

You will start by baking Anzac cookies, muffins, sweet pastry, savoury sausage rolls, progress through to midweek meals including a curry, Chinese stirfry, soup, pasta bake, sticky ovenbaked chicken, MiddleEastern snack (shawarma) and finish off with a well deserved sweet pudding (chocolate mousse).
